The Lighting Masterclass

125 pages of room-by-room guidance for choosing, sizing, and placing decorative light fixtures throughout your home.

You'll start by defining your project style and color palette (so you're not shopping blind), then learn how lighting types, brightness, and color temperature work together.

From there, every major room gets its own section with specific fixture guidelines, sizing formulas, placement rules, and worksheets: entry and living areas, kitchen, dining, bedroom, bathroom, stairway, and ceiling fans.

This is the course that takes lighting from "I don't know where to start" to "I know exactly what I need and where it goes."

Clients Say Things Like...

"The most valuable aspect for me is that this lighting design guide is kind of a living document that can grow with you as your design skills and home ideas grow and change.

When I first looked through it I skimmed for just pendant info. Now that I have been in my home longer and want to do more, I find myself continually going back to the course."

I'm Rachel Jackson, an interior designer in Austin specializing in sensory-friendly homes for neurodivergent families.

I came to this work through my own experience in our neurodiverse family, and after two decades in interior design, I'm bringing both together: designing for aesthetics and the nervous system.

My courses teach the same sensory-friendly principles I use with private clients, so you can make real changes in your own home, at your own pace and within your budget.
